She started her career at four years old, starring in hot dog advertising, and in 1987 she received her first role in the sitcom “Valerie”, where she played a girl named Pamela, the niece of one of the main characters in the series. In the same year, Jeff Franklin took Jody to the role of Stephanie Tanner in the new sitcom ‘Full House’, and she starred in the show until it was finished in 1995.

After the closure of the ‘Full House’, Suite graduated in 1999 from the school and entered the Chapman University in Orange, California. In high school, Jody was engaged in a musical theater with actor Matthew Morrison (Matthew Morrison), known for the series ‘Chorus’ (Glee).

She returned to television as the host of the second season of the dance show ‘Pants-Off Dance-Off’ on Fuse TV. Suitin starred in the pilot episode of the ‘Small Bits of Happiness’ show, a black comedy in which the action unfolded around a suicide prevention specialist, and he took the ‘Best Comedy’ prize at the 3rd Annual Independent Television Festival in Los -Angeles.

In 2002, at age 20, Sweetin married Los Angeles Police officer Shaun Holguin. They divorced in 2006.

Sweetin met Cody Herpin, a film transportation coordinator, and they started dating in May 2007. They were married in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 14, 2007. In this marriage, Soutine gave birth to her first-born daughter Zoe Laurelmei Herpin (born 12.04.2008). On November 19, 2008, Sweetin filed for legal separation. It was finalized on April 20, 2010.

On April 30, 2010, Sweetin’s representative confirmed that she and her boyfriend Morty Coyle were expecting a child. In these relations, Suitin gave birth to her second daughter – Beatrix Carlyn Sweetin-Coyle (born 31.08.2010) Sweetin and Coyle and married on March 15, 2012, in Beverly Hills. Sweetin filed for legal separation from Coyle in June 2013. The divorce was finalized in September 2016.

On January 22, 2016, she announced her engagement to Justin Hodak, who, like Sweetin, is a recovering drug addict. On March 24, 2017, Sweetin announced the couple’s separation

Since 1988, Jodi was nominated four times for the Young Artist Award, and in 1990 she became the owner of this award. In 2004, she won the TV Land Awards. After the close of the “Full House”, she flashed several times in a number of TV series, including “Brotherly Love”, “Party of Five” and “Yes, Dear”, in 2007 she worked on the scoring of the parody comedy “Farce of the Penguins”, played in films ‘Redefining Love” and ‘Port City’ in 2009, and in 2011 starred in five episodes of the series “Can’t Get Arrested”. According to rumors, Jody will take part in the creation of the fairy tale “Jacob and the Gnome”.

Sweetin is a recovering drug addict. She started drinking alcohol when she was 14, shortly after Full House wrapped. Over parts of the next 15 years, she used ecstasy, methamphetamine, crack, among others, stating that she turned to drugs because she was “bored”.In 2009, Sweetin wrote a memoir called unSweetined, which chronicles her downward spiral of alcohol and drug abuse that began with the ending of Full House. In one passage of the book, Sweetin discusses breaking into tears while addressing a crowd at Wisconsin’s Marquette University while coming down from a two-day methamphetamine, cocaine, and ecstasy binge. She spoke about growing up on television and about how much her life had improved since getting sober. Sweetin says she got sober for good in December of 2008. After she got clean and sober, Sweetin began working as a clinical logistics coordinator at a Los Angeles drug rehab center and completed her degree as a drug and alcohol counselor.
In December 2010, the California authorities filed a lawsuit claiming that Sweetin owed taxes in 2009 amounting to almost $ 30,000.
